Válvulas de Globo Duplex
A microestrutura da válvula de globo em aço inoxidável duplex consiste numa mistura de uma fase austenítica e de uma fase de ferrite. Por conseguinte, o aço duplex tem propriedades de aço inoxidável austenítico e ferrítico.
A válvula de globo duplex utiliza aço inoxidável que tem uma maior resistência à corrosão do que os tipos de válvulas de aço inoxidável normalmente utilizados, nomeadamente as válvulas 304 e 316. As válvulas de aço inoxidável duplex são amplamente utilizadas em vários sectores, como a indústria química, a dessalinização da água do mar, a construção naval, a indústria petroquímica, a indústria petrolífera e a indústria do gás.

Cast steel duplex globe valve is an excellent valve to use for shut-off service and shall be installed in the proper direction as flow arrow marked in the body. Unless other specific, globe valve shall be used for uni-directional seal.
