Duplex-Durchgangsventile
Das Mikrogefüge des Ventils aus nichtrostendem Duplexstahl besteht aus einer Mischung aus einer austenitischen und einer ferritischen Phase. Daher hat der Duplex-Stahl sowohl austenitische als auch ferritische Eigenschaften.
Für Duplex-Ventile wird rostfreier Stahl verwendet, der eine höhere Korrosionsbeständigkeit aufweist als die üblicherweise verwendeten Edelstahlsorten 304 und 316. Duplex-Ventile aus rostfreiem Stahl werden in verschiedenen Branchen wie der chemischen Industrie, der Meerwasserentsalzung, dem Schiffbau, der petrochemischen Industrie, der Öl- und Gasindustrie eingesetzt.

Cast steel duplex globe valve is an excellent valve to use for shut-off service and shall be installed in the proper direction as flow arrow marked in the body. Unless other specific, globe valve shall be used for uni-directional seal.
